Reflections Portraits by Tom Hussey
Tom Hussey portrays old people looking at their younger reflection in the mirror. These photographs are beautiful and melancholic.

i feel mixed about these. i understand that they are meant to evoke a feeling of reflection, but it seems like they wish to be their younger, more “attractive” selves, which perpetuates ageism because it insinuates that there is an age that is right, or good, but that once you pass that age you are no longer desirable/ your life is no longer an engaging or fufilling one.
